Diana L. Taylor
Joined the amfAR board in March 2007. Served as secretary from February 2008 to February 2011. Has more than 20 years of experience in the public and private sectors. Currently is vice chair of Solera Capital.
Ms. Taylor previously served as managing director at Wolfensohn Fund Management, L.P., a strategic consulting and investment firm. Prior to Wolfensohn, she was the New York State superintendent of banks and chairwoman of the New York State Banking Board. Before her government service, she worked in the private sector as vice president for KeySpan Energy and as an investment banker with Smith Barney, Lehman Brothers, and Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette.
Ms. Taylor chairs the boards of Accion, Hot Bread Kitchen, and Hudson River Park Trust, and serves on the boards of Citigroup, Brookfield Asset Management, and Sotheby’s. Other board memberships include the Mailman School of Public Health of Columbia University, the International Women’s Health Coalition, and the Mayo Clinic. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Economic Club of New York.
She earned her A.B. from Dartmouth College, her M.B.A. from the Columbia School of Business, and her M.P.H. from the Mailman School of Public Health.
