Implementing an Effective National HIV/AIDS Strategy for the U.S.
In the U.S., a new HIV infection occurs every 9½ minutes and one-half of all Americans living with HIV are not in care. Yet there has never been a comprehensive strategy to address our domestic AIDS epidemic. President Obama is committed to developing a National HIV/AIDS Strategy focused on reducing HIV incidence, increasing access to care, and addressing health disparities.
amfAR advocates the development and implementation of an effective National HIV/AIDS Strategy.
