Aron Marquez

Aron Marquez was born in Ojinaga, Mexico. He and his family moved to the United States when he was young. They worked onion fields in the summer near Fort Stockton, Texas, and lived in Odessa during school. The family ultimately settled permanently in Odessa. Aron graduated from Odessa Permian High School and Odessa College. He obtained a BBA from the University of Oklahoma. He was the first person in his family to graduate from college.

Aron started his professional career with Nabors Industries. He became a District Manager and was responsible for Nabors Well Servicing’s operations in West Texas and New Mexico. He left Nabors to start St. Andrews Royalties, LLC, and Wildcat Oil Tools, LLC. Wildcat Oil Tools began operating in 2012. Since then, it has grown from a single location and product line to an international oil field services and technology company. Wildcat has locations in all the major US basins and is active in Malaysia, South America, and the Middle East. Aron serves on the company’s Board of Directors.

Aron was a co-founder of Flecha Azul Tequila along with PGA professional golfer Abraham Ancer. Even though they launched the company at the start of the COVID pandemic, it was so successful that the nation’s largest distributor, Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits, approached them to begin carrying the brand. Shortly thereafter, they formed a joint venture with industry professionals and Mark Wahlberg. Today, the company distributes nationwide and is preparing its international launch. Aron serves as President and as a director for the joint venture.   

Aron also co-founded Ombré Men, an innovative men’s skincare company, with Abraham Ancer and famous Formula One driver Fernando Alonso in 2022. Ombré Men is redefining men’s wellness and skincare with a suite of natural products and recyclable packaging. 

In 2023 Aron co-founded Free Rein Coffee Company with friends Karl Pfluger, Paul Anderson and Cole Hauser, with a vision of bringing quality coffee to those who need it most. Free Rein Coffee Company is rich in West Texas history founded alongside a San Angelo, Texas, family with 25 years of roasting experience.

Aron is a published author. His book, Never Settle, tells his personal story and provides insight and advice for entrepreneurs through his experiences with Wildcat Oil Tools. 

Aron is on the First Tee of West Texas Board and formerly served on the Midland Community Hospital Advisors Board, the Midland YMCA Board, and the United Way of Odessa Board.  He is a member of Dallas National Country Club and Midland Country Club.
