Michael Lorber is a Senior Vice President at Douglas Elliman Real Estate, New York’s largest real estate firm and the fourth largest in the United States with over $30 billion in sales volume in 2019. Douglas Elliman has more than 8,000 agents in over 125 offices throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, Westchester and Putnam Counties, as well as South Florida, California, Connecticut, Colorado, Texas, New Jersey and Boston.
Mr. Lorber previously served on the Board of Trustees of the HIV/AIDS organization ACRIA and served on the Board of Directors of Love Heals, The Allison Gertz Foundation for AIDS Education. He serves as a Trustee of Babson College and an Overseer for the New England Aquarium, and is a member of the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center Leadership Council. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Harvard Kennedy School Taubman Center for State and Local Government, and he received a presidential appointment to serve on the President’s Advisory Committee on the Arts.
Mr. Lorber received a bachelor’s degree from Babson College in 2001, a law degree from The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2005, and a master’s degree from New York University’s Real Estate Institute in 2007.
He currently divides his time between New York City, Palm Beach, FL, and Sag Harbor.
