Cindy Rachofsky

First joined the amfAR board in June 2010 and served until 2020. Became vice chair of the board in 2018. Rejoined the board in March 2022. Serves on the fund development committee.

Since 1999, has opened the family’s home to host Dallas’s TWO x TWO for AIDS and Art benefit, which has raised more than $130 million for amfAR and the Dallas Museum of Art. Has played a significant role building amfAR’s relationship with the art community.

Mrs. Rachofsky is an avid philanthropist who is dedicated to the Dallas community. She serves on the board of MAD in Copenhagen, Denmark. She and her husband Howard received amfAR’s Award of Courage in 2009 for their tireless commitment to the fight against AIDS.

Philanthropist. Recently amfAR changed the name of their award of excellence to the Cindy and Howard Rachofsky Award as a tribute to the 25 years of TWO x TWO. She is the mother of two adult children and lives in Dallas, TX, with her husband Howard.
