Julia Roberts
Hailing from Smyrna, Georgia, Julia Roberts first made her mark in Hollywood in Mystic Pizza and Steel Magnolias. She went on to become one of the highest-paid and sought-after actresses of her generation. Roberts is an Academy Award, BAFTA, and three-time Golden Globe winner. She earned an Emmy nomination for her role in 2014’s The Normal Heart, a film based on Larry Kramer’s play about early AIDS activism.
Her philanthropic work has included support for UNICEF, renewable energy, women’s rights, disadvantaged youth, GLSEN, as well as HIV/AIDS.
Roberts is a devoted wife and joyful mother of three.
