Kevin Huvane
Kevin Huvane is a Partner and Managing Director of Creative Artists Agency (CAA), the world’s leading entertainment and sports agency, with offices in Los Angeles, New York, London, Nashville, and Beijing. In addition to sharing management responsibilities for the entire agency, Huvane oversees the company’s Lifestyle Division, which includes the Licensing, Endorsements, and Speakers departments. Huvane works in the Los Angeles office and represents many of the world’s leading actors, writers, and directors in film, theater, and television, including Tom Cruise, Sandra Bullock, Meryl Streep, Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Aniston, Ryan Seacrest, and Halle Berry, among others. He has been called “one of the most influential people in Hollywood” by Vanity Fair and Entertainment Weekly.
In 1996, Huvane and his partners created the CAA Foundation. The Foundation works to involve the entertainment community in philanthropy and encourages organizations to lend their support to educational programs. The Foundation develops public/private partnerships at both the local and national levels. It also provides monetary support to fund school programs such as field trips, mentoring, and computer labs.
In April 2000, Huvane received the David Niven Award for his contributions to Project A.L.S. (Lou Gehrig’s disease). He is a co-chair of the Entertainment Industry Foundation’s National Colorectal Cancer Research Alliance, an organization spearheaded by Katie Couric, and serves on the boards of the Entertainment Industry Foundation, Abercrombie & Fitch, and J Brand.
Huvane began his career in the mailroom of the William Morris Agency in New York and was soon promoted to agent in the Motion Picture Talent department. He joined CAA in 1988. A New York City native, Huvane graduated from Fordham University with a degree in English and Political Science. He resides in Los Angeles with his son, Declan.
