Asal Sayas is currently a Senior Advisor on the Health Outcomes Team in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Asal spent the first half of her career as a congressional aide working in the House and Senate before joining amfAR.

We must actively work to dismantle barriers to HIV care, and address historic and systemic inequalities that continue to disproportionately affect underserved communities. Until we have a cure, we must ensure that everyone—regardless of their background—has access to HIV prevention, testing and treatment.”
