amfAR Welcomes Aron Marquez to Its Leadership

Marquez is the founder of several companies, including Wildcat Oil Tools, Flecha Azul Tequila, Ombré Men, and Free Rein Coffee Company. Born in Ojinaga, Mexico, Marquez immigrated to the United States with his family at a young age, eventually settling in Odessa, Texas. He was the first member of his family to graduate from college, obtaining a BBA from the University of Oklahoma.

After several years in the oil and gas industries, Marquez founded Wildcat Oil Tools, which has grown into an international oil field services and technology company operating throughout North and South America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. Marquez serves on the company’s Board of Directors.

In addition to his entrepreneurial efforts, Marquez is a published author; his book, Never Settle, tells his personal story with insight and advice for fellow entrepreneurs.

Marquez’s support for amfAR began in 2023, attending fundraisers in both Dallas and the Hamptons. Flecha Azul, Marquez’s tequila brand, also served as an in-kind sponsor for amfAR Palm Beach in 2024.

In addition to his business pursuits, Marquez serves on the Board of the First Tee of West Texas, providing guidance and mentorship to young people through the sport of golf. He has previously served on the boards of the Midland Community Hospital Advisors, the Midland YMCA, and the United Way of Odessa.
